Fuel Economy and Range
The Acura TLX has an engine control system that can shut down half of the engine’s cylinders which can improve the TLX’s V6 engine fuel efficiency. This feature is especially useful in situations with heavy traffic. The Audi A6 does not have a system like this. The TLX also has a standard cap-less fueling system which can decrease pollution compared to the traditional fuel caps. On automatic features, the Acura TLX has a standard nine-speed automatic V6 engine which can give the vehicle better acceleration and lower engine speeds on the highway. The Audi A6 only goes up to an eight-speed automatic.
The Acura TLX uses a computer-generated active noise cancellation to remove unwanted road noise from the cabin of the vehicle, even at low frequencies. The A6 does not offer active noise cancellation. The Acura TLX also offers a remote starting system, giving you the ability to start the vehicle from inside your home or before getting into the vehicle. The Audi A6 does not have this feature either.
