Upgraded Features: 2017 Acura ILX vs. 2018 ILX in Houston

The 2017 ILX dash featured a dual-screen infotainment system showing the driver navigation, radio stations, temperature and many other features. The 2018 ILX is rumored to replace that set up with one large screen.
Drivers and passengers will likely get more space to spread out in as well. The 2018 ILX should come with a longer wheelbase adding in some extra legroom. The front and rear seats should be lowered closer to the ground allowing for more headroom.
Updates Under the Hood
The 2017 Acura ILX features a 2.4-liter engine boasting 201 horsepower. It offers features like Drive-By-Wire System, Direct Gas Injection, Intelligent Variable Value Timing and Lift Electronic Control, and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The 2018 ILX looks like it will features a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that produces roughly 200 HP. A select trim might offer an upgraded engine that produces an additional 100 HP.
